Yes Reyno it worked for me perfectly as in being light and very fast to open, it is simple to sleep in for 2 people, the only thing that you have to be carefull with these type of tents is the wind blowing strong even worse a sand storm that was making such a noise in the tent we could not sleep. if i knew i would have placed it on the ground ( it is only 17kgs) or find a protected place which i couldnt , i am satisfied with it

Thank you so much for your reply. Im so pleased to hear that. I bought itbfor our upcoming Botswana trip and my thinking was that it was light enough to remove from the roof rack every morning should we go for game drives during the day, and easy to put back again in the afternoon when returning for the nights sleep.
My only concern is that it didnt come with an additional rain cover. Did you have one and is it really necessary, or did this model not come with a rain cover/ sheet?
Mine has has one and it works in 2 ways , protects from the rain ( specifically designed for that) easy to fit and the other is it protects you form the morning light it is better with it in the morning the does no light up fast , again it is an important accessory for you on this trip as the tent alone I am not sure. The degree of water proof it can take
Awesome. Thank you so much for letting me know. I do appreciate it. Are you able to post a picture with the cover on the tent, or on its own for me? I am trying to source a cover and it seems like Tente de Toit who manufactured the tent, doesnt know what I mean (they speak French) when I said I am looking for a cover. If I can send them a image of the cover, they will possible understand what I need.

No worries Reyno it is a pleasure … i put some pictures of the cover on the posting for you to see and worst case scenario you can make it yourself if all other means fail
Actually if you look carefully there on of the older pictures you can see the cover over the tent while on the tent is on the lawn
